There are several types of hydraulic cylinders, which differ in their action type and structural design. With us, you can order the manufacture of a hydraulic cylinder or buy a hydraulic cylinder of any type or order a product with unique characteristics.
1. Single-Acting Hydraulic Cylinder
The piston rod in this product is moved using the power fluid pressure in the piston cavity. The return stroke of the piston rod is carried out using a special spring installed behind it.
The force transferred by the piston in this case is lower than for a double-acting hydraulic cylinder under the same conditions. This is due to an impact of the spring, which returns the piston rod to the back position. That is, a portion of the force goes to pressing-through of the spring itself rather than to work of the piston rod.
2. Double-Acting Hydraulic Cylinder
The piston rod travels due to the power fluid pressure. The fluid most often would be hydraulic oil. As the areas of the piston rod are different, the forces during the forward stroke and the return stroke are different as well. Thus, the piston rod movement force within the forward stroke is higher than within the return one. Such products are used to lift/drop the bucket of dump trucks or other vehicles where a much higher force is required during the forward stroke than during the return stroke. This is a hydraulic cylinder for a press, machines, and various equipment.
3. Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinders
As it follows from the name, they have a telescopic system. The range of applications is rather wide. Most often, they are used in units with a large stroke, where a significant extension of the piston rod is required, and the initial position is length-limited. The structure consists of several piston rods that extend gradually. The stroke is limited by the length of each piston rod.
4. Differential Hydraulic Cylinders
Standard use of a double-acting hydraulic cylinder was described above. It implies that one of cavities is connected to the delivery system, with different travel speeds during the forward stroke and the return stroke.
A differential or circular system operates somewhat differently. In order to apply a force on the piston rod, the fluid goes into the piston cavity, while the fluid being forced out from the piston rod cavity is fed back. Due to such a system, the movement is much faster. The return stroke is implemented due to work transferred by the fluid into the piston rod cavity connected with the hydraulic tank. The difference of areas in this case is 2 to 1. This is necessary for reaching the equivalent travel speeds when the cylinder goes out and in.
You can buy a hydraulic cylinder from us for presses, machines, lifting mechanisms, and other equipment.
Application
Hydraulic cylinders are used universally, for lifting mechanisms, cranes, delivery, presses, agricultural equipment, etc. The speed is controlled using a hydraulic-operated directional valve or via changing the mechanism operation.
Research and Production Enterprise HydroCube manufactures and repairs hydraulic cylinders of any type. Also, you can buy from us a hydraulic cylinder the price of which will be a pleasant surprise for you.
